Men swim past WFR, lose to Millbrook

On December 20, in a swim meet delayed by snow, the CAPS men swimmers lost to Millbrook but defeated Wake Forest-Rolesville. MBK 133, BRO 124, WFR 43
The CAPS were led by Kevin Rogers who won both the 200 free and the 50 free. Brandon Hodnett won the 100 fly. Alex Haugh took second in the 100 free and third in the 200 IM. Alex's time of 52.79 in the 100 free beat his best high school time by over 2 seconds, which is a massive amount of time in swimming. Peter Daniel took second in the breaststroke and Freddie Bosse took third in the same event. Will Close took third in the 500 free, Luke Janes took third in the 100 fly, and Johnson Beasley took third in the backstroke. The 200 free relay of Daniel, Beasley, Hodnett, and Rogers took home a gold as well.
The swimmers will see action again on Tuesday January 4 at 6:00 at NCSU. We will be competing against Apex, Sanderson, and Reagan.
