Lady Caps Soccer Ads Two More Wins

The Varsity Girl's soccer team started the week with a home game against Enloe. The Caps struck first when Caroline Brown scored with 25 minutes left in the first half. The Girls carried this 1-0 lead into halftime. With 16:39 left in the second half, Catherine Murphy scored an insurance goal off an assist from Markie Studnicky to put the Caps up 2-0 and seal the win.

On Wednesday night the Lady Caps were away at WF Rolesville. The girls wasted no time getting on the board when Markie Studnicky scored off a corner kick from Jessica Crowder ten minutes into the game. With 13 minutes left in the first half Elise Stafford scored on another corner kick from Jessica Crowder. The girls were not done as Caroline Brown scored off an assist from Clay Weaver with seven left to close out the first half with a 3-0 lead. The second half started much the same as Markie Studnicky scored with 39 minutes left in the first half. WF Rolesville was able to put one in during the last three minutes of the game, but it was too little too late as the Lady Caps closed out the week with a 4-1 win.

This week's schedule: Monday away at Heritage, Wednesday at home versus #7 Wakefield, Thursday at home versus #4 Apex.
