Concentration and hunger were par for the course today as the Caps took the second Cap8 Match at Lonnie Poole. A long, tough course put up a fight in the wind, but Broughton Men's Golf came out victorious! Harrison Rhoades led the Caps with a beautiful round - shooting one under par for a 35 - he ended the day medalist tied for low round with Seabolt of Leesville. Court Settle and Preyer Fountain both played solid - finishing the day with 37's, Stephen Saleeby continued the Caps roll with a 38, George Kilgore with 40 and Will Minton with a 41 closed the door on the Leesville Pride.
Keeping in mind the words of Ben Hogan - "the most important shot in golf is the next one" - the Caps have their eyes on the prize and their clubs poised to take another win.
They tee it up at 3:30 this Thursday for their home match at Carolina Country Club - come on out - enjoy this great weather and fill a gallery for the Caps!
