CAPS CELEBRATE SENIOR NIGHT
Broughton's women's soccer team celebrated the final regular season home match and Senior night with a 6-1 thrashing of Wake Forest-Rolesville. Prior to the 6:30 p.m. kick-off the Caps recognized the contributions of Seniors Caroline Brown, Caroline Duncan, Becca Shavlik, Sofie Stein-Montalvo, Margot Provencher, and Lena Wallace. Wallace celebrated the night in grand style scoring a hat trick in the victory, giving her 7 goals on the campaign. Freshmen Emma Willard (12), Sarah Grace Lasso (8), and Lily Schneider (2) each notched a goal in the match. Schneider also recorded 2 assists and Willard joined Carolina Brown and Becca Shavlik with one assist each. The Caps return to action Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. when they travel to Heritage for their last Cap 8 regular season game. With a victory the Caps are assured of at least a tie for fourth place in the conference. With an Enloe defeat of Wakefield the Caps will have sole possession of fourth place and host the first round Cap 8 tournament game Monday night.
