The JV Lady Caps soccer team left Millbrook with a tough 1-0 loss. Millbrook completely dominated play until they finally scored with 16 minutes remaining in the half. That goal served as a wake up call to the Caps, who dominated the play the remainder of the game. Although dominating play with many of corners and shots on goal, the Caps could not get the ball in to the net.
The Caps defense, led by goal keeper Kendall Stephenson, did a great job of shutting down the Wildcats after the lone goal. The loss drops the Caps to (7-2-1) and the Millbrook rematch will come soon at Broughton. Thursday afternoon the Caps travel to Garner for a 4:30pm match.
