Volleyball Draws Top Seed in East Region, Hosts Holly Springs on Saturday at 5pm

Broughton (19-0) is the #1 seed in the NCHSAA 4A East Region bracket released yesterday.  The Caps will host Holly Springs (32) in the first round on Saturday at 5pm. The winner of the BHS/Holly Springs match will play the winner of Apex (16) and New Hanover (17) on Tuesday. Cap-8 runner-up Leesville Road is seeded 9th and hosts Athens Drive (24) and Wakefield (31) travels to defending state champion J.H. Rose (19-1, 2 seed). Heritage (18) will visit Cape Fear (15) and Sanderson (23) travels to 10-seed Fuquay-Varina.
