Lady Caps Tennis Dominates Wakefield

The Broughton Lady Caps Tennis Team soundly defeated Wakefield in a home match today, 7-1. The team played well in spite of having a "Code Yellow" issued due to the warm weather. The Lady Caps claimed all of the singles courts only losing eight games out of all played. Noteworthy performances were shown by the team's sole freshman member, Addie Camak, senior co-captain Shields Bennett and junior Janie Grace Gilbert. The Broughton team now has a 3-2 record overall and in the Cap 8 conference. The Lady Caps are away tomorrow facing Heritage High School at 3:30pm. Good luck to our team as they travel to Heritage!
