Coach Jen Yoder's Girls Lacrosse team traveled to Wake Forest for a 16-1 win Thursday night. For the third consecutive game the Caps, now 3-0, were unchallenged by their opponent.
The Broughton defense, led by senior Carson Harvey, almost pitched a shutout. Wake Forest scored with 2 seconds left in the game, their only goal of the night.
On offense the Caps were led by Margaret Anne Warner with four goals, followed by Addie Camak and Carol Seigler with three each, Georgia Davis with two, and with one each Sydney Russell, EJ Fuller, Katie Childrey and Lily DiCaprio.
The Caps host Wakefield Tuesday March 14 at 6 pm.
