Cap's Golf Survives Weather to Win Three Team Match at Pine Hollow

Mother Nature kept all but the most dedicated golfers off the course today.  She could not stop the Caps however.  Facing cold and  rainy conditions, the Caps persevered  to win a three team match this afternoon at Pine Hollow Golf Course.

The Caps defeated second place Green Hope by four shots with third place going to Clayton.  Leading Broughton with a pair of 39's for the nine holes were Sophomore Carter Dickinson and Freshman James Carlin.  The next two scores that counted for Broughton included Junior Colby Mitchell and Sophomore Wooten Wheless.

The Caps return to action on Friday in the Neuse Invitational.
